    Lightbulb hello there

    good day ladies,

I have just registered and though I might introduce myself. I saw no other place to do that, so I hope in here is ok.

Santa Cruz California is where I call home... a perfect climate to ride!

I have been riding somewhat seriously for a little over 2 years. I enjoy road as well as mountain - but reality is that I ride more road. Aerobics and dancing is also fun but my knees prefer riding.

I have two great daughters (9 and 14) and work full time as a Staff Developer in a sub acute hospital. My friends do not ride so it is a solo pursuit for me - I have a few guy friends who ride but as we know girls are different! I am looking foward to connecting with fellow cycling women here at team estrogen.com.

    Thanks for your time!

Hey there, and hello! I'm pretty new to the boards too, and its a great place to hang out. I'm very envious of the riders in California, you all have so many road options as well as mountainbiking. Here in Minnesota the mountainbiking is awesome, and I'm just starting to get out on the road. I've found myself looking at shoulders now when I'm driving in my car looking for new places to ride. Welcome!
