My friend just bought a Pilot 2.1 WSD. Her DH kept giving her a hard time about buying it, he thought their hybrids were good enough.

She started going off and leaving him so he went out and bought one too!

I found that the bontranger bar tape that came on my Trek 1500 didn't stay well wrapped at all... I lived with it for a while and then just got them re-wrapped,and now all is great. I would second the suggestion to take it back into the shop and see if they will re-wrap it for you since you just got the bike. (I couldn't do this since I bought mine used from someone on Craigslist).

Although I didn't drop a TON of change on my bike, it was enough for us on military pay, on my Trek 1000, I would expect that at least the tape would have held up.....at least for ONE ride~ But we also had to put on the Bontranger hard case tires, slime tubes, etc, etc....
Anyway, called the manager today, DH has gone to him for everything, including our bikes, he said to bring it in with the wrap of my choice and no charge....sweet!!!
