Coaches? Awesome! But I'm probably 2 hours away at rush hour. I *might* be able to leave work early to do this once. Or maybe I'll play hookey. Shhhh.

Do you think this is doable without a wetsuit?

Hey. I'm on vacation, sorry! I might be interested in one or two of these... I don't have a wetsuit though so I don't know if that would hinder things. I could probably bring some other folks too who are going to be doing some tris this year. Is there a website with info?

We wear wetsuits through the summer in Canada. I can't imagine it's much warming in NJ in April.

Nice Pics- I miss climbing too!
I've decided I need to be independantly wealthy so I can spend my time doing all the leisure activities I love....then again I likely still wouldn't have time for all since I have a list a mile long of things I still want to try.....
I'm waiting patiently for my wetsuit to arrive- I'm terrified it won't fit!

OMG. I missed the wetsuit thing. Somehow I did not know that you ordered one. I'm so happy for you. It'll fit. What'd you order?

Both DH and I ordered one- thru the triclub here-Quintaroo ultrafull- I think that is the model- anyway it is the entry level one.
I had trouble with the sizing because my height I was in the middle of the range for large and med but I was just on the edge of the weight ( top end for med and low edge for large) - I didn't want it loose around my scrawny neck- but wanted some room for my thighs-I decided to throw caution to the wind and get the med- hence the regular updates with the weigh -ins.
I'll let you know if it fits when it arrives- I liked reading all the hints in the other thread- oops- guess I should have replied there!
sorry for the hijack- I'll stop now.

I've been thinking about it, and unfortunately I can't see doing this without a wetsuit, even though I really need to practice in open water.

But rocknroll girl, maybe you, me, AllezGirl and others in the area can get together when the water has warmed up a little bit for a practice session!

    OTG,
I would love to, any time. We can gather the troops, and I can pass on anything that I learn at the sessions.
