    I was riding on the Sammamish River trail today (Friday) with Dakay and a vaguely familiar person came out of the restroom as we were going in. She was riding a tandem -- well, not actually coming out of the restroom -- I think you know what I mean.

    Yes, it was a bit icy in places and toes got a little cold, but it was a great day for a ride!

    Sure was! I KNEW you looked familiar but my measly brain just couldn't quite get that thought the rest of the way to its destination. So--hi!! Sorry I wasn't quite swift enough in person!

    It was a WONDERFUL ride day even with all that. Eagles, herons, an otter, coots...you know.

    It was a bit icy! I was going home up the East Hill and encountered a twenty foot wide ice sheet on the road. I knew I couldn't cross it on the bike, so I went to get off the bike and promptly landed on my knee. Ouch! It's bruised, but nothing broken. Bummer .

    Other than that it was a nice ride!
