Gosh, I LOVE this thread! Seeing all your rides makes me want to move someplace else (then I remember that my place has beauty too).
Thanks for sharing ladies- and keep them coming!!!!![]()

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
Hub, cool shot of your brother!
Thanks! I got a picture of him 'framed' in the Madone when we rode across
the big Dam bridge- that was the inspiration for the new shot. I owe all cycling gifts to him!

The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

Here's a view from my office window. Across the street is an airport,
and the hill in the distance is the hill upon which i live.
I ride here a lot
I might just come up your way...![]()
Utah is my favorite place for riding and hoping to talk some TE ladies into next year either doing The Skinny Tire Festival out of Moab in March or LAGBRAU in September. You will not see prettier scenary anywhere and the roads in Utah are meant for riding, clean, in good repair and no traffic. The State is desolate, but beautiful.

The pics are GORGEOUS! It's so much fun to see where everyone rides &/or lives. Attached are a couple pics from my annual trip to Colorado. The first is near the top of 14,135 ft. Mt. Evans during the annual Mt. Evans Hill Climb. No, I did not ride - I took the picture! (Check out the "dog" in the clouds!)
The second is on Swan Mtn. Rd. near Keystone.
I don't have any pics of local rides with me (I'm doing this at work)but I will bring some next week & post. Keep the pictures coming!

IFJane, the second pic you posted is creepy- because I have the EXACT same shot- almost as if I took it in the exact same spot as you (only in it is my DH running, not riding). Weird....

My new baby for 2007
2 years ago on my way home from the Texas ride, we were fortunat enough to ride through one of the most incredible wildflower blooms in recent history due to heavy rains... from Texas to California this was the view:

The flat lands of central Illinois:
Hey, Jean, where in central Illinois? Our family farm is near Athens and my family goes back many generations. Hordes of us mentioned in the "Settlers of Sangamon County."

Well, I was born in New Mexico. My mother up and left her home state for grad school -- actually for college in Minnesota and then NM for grad school. But I spent most of every August there through high school.
To this day, it isn't REAL corn on the cob if it isn't field corn picked after you put the water on the stove.
