Dear Municipal Bicycle Pathway Authority:

Thank you SO much for building the beautiful, paved bike path that you finished several years ago. Would it be too much to ask that you take a street sweeper to it once in a while to clear off the branches, rocks, broken glass, sand, and other miscellaneous crap so those of us with road bikes can use it again? Is it possible to maintain the surface to eliminate the cracks and grass growing from them?

Dear sweet, kindhearted dayshift lady:
There are reasons why I don't make a great security officer. One of them is that I'm just too trusting. A nice lady hands me a big plate of food from the potluck today, and I don't question it. Sure I look it over and give it a quick sniff test, but eh.
Lady, thank you so much- it was so good. Frozen dinners are $$ and I never seem to bring enough, so that plate of assorted potluck items was incredibly welcome. I miss the kind of hot dishes and pasta salads Mom used to make because of all the bachelorette kibble and pizza we've had recently and some of these ladies are just excellent cooks.

Dear Quint41. I have had excellent luck with CALLING the city of seattle and complaining about glass on the side of the streets where I ride. One time they cleaned it the very next day.

The guy still hasn't written me back, after confirming I could buy the WRONG snake!! She's a Nelson's Milksnake.

Yeah, since probably no one else is going to buy her for my birthday, despite my demands- I'll do it myself!

She was bred in captivity, but in the wild they live in Nayarit, Jalisco and Michoacan states of Mexico- kind of central Pacific. I would name her Inez!
