Help!! First pair of good shorts

YAY!! Ok so I finally talked my mom into buying me a pair of good cycling shorts, actually I think walking with a limp from sores all weekend did it more than my begging.

I have a couple of pairs of kids sized ones and they are OK for about 15 or 20 miles which is all i go most days but last saturday i rode 45 and I still hurt.

All mine are kids medium but I think I could wear a womans XS or XXS probably. I can't find any kids ones that sound better than the ones I have but since I am only probably gonna be getting one pair for a while I need help with what everyone thinks are the best! She said she'd like to spend no more than 75 but I have some money I could use if they are more. THANKS for your help!!

great chamois, nice fit. I don't know if it will fit you yet, i can wear a kid's extra large but like you said, the chamois are pathetic on them; so maybe you could wear a woman's xs

    good luck.

    Hi!

I have 2 pair of cycling shorts.

One is the Pearl Izumi MicroSensor 3D Pro Short,

and the other is the one Jennifer mentioned, Shebeest Triple S Shorts.

My favorite is the Shebeest SSS shorts . They are wicked comfortable, I love the fabric & the chamois is extremely comfortable.

And, the Shebeest are $40.00 LESS than the PI shorts.

Good luck on finding your favorite pair.

I'll also mention that I use the Brave Soldier friction zone cream.

I've heard that Performance Bike has it on sale at various times.

    Have a great day!

I have several pairs of Performance gel and non-gel Century shorts - Love them.....and 2 pair of the Sugoi shorts - love them too!

I have the Shebeest Triple S and I agree they're really comfy, the chamois is verrry comfortable and they are nice and fitted, I wear a size S. In some brands, the S is a little larger than the Shebeest, you may well find the XS in Shebeest good if you are tiny. PLUS they are very well priced and should fit into our budget. TE has some on special right now in the blue fabric for $60. http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=15447
