Has anyone here done RAGBRAI (RAGBRAI ) and willing to share their tips?
Or is anyone here planning on doing RAGBRAI this year?

RAGBRAI..... what an awesome ride! Last year was my first and I plan to go every year from here on out! I was having a mid-life crisis and thought what better way to celebrate my 40th was to ride across the state! I needed to reclaim......something! Anyway, the ride was fun, met lots of great people and just had a blast. The website will answer most of your questions, it's pretty informative. www.ragbrai.com We rode with our local bike club, they transported us to the starting point, hauled our gear from town to town, provided bike repair, masseuse, drinks and ride home the last day. It worked great. There are several clubs that offer the service, you can find them on the website.
I got alot of tips from some people who have ridden it 20+ times, so I had a good idea of what to expect. If you are a biker in the midwest, and haven't gone on RAGBRAI, you are missing out!
I'd highly recommend the ride!
17 RAGBRAI's here........ Once you start, it's hard to stop.Tho' I don't plan on going this year, you never know. I might end up doing a few days.
If you have questions, h2odoglover, just e-mail me @ anniebikes@mchsi.com
I'd be glad to answer!
Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived." Captain Jean Luc Picard
Thanx for the replies!
Annie I'll definately e-mail you a list! I promise I'll keep it short.

I've been fascinated by the RAGBRAI for years and have it on my calendar for 2005. Still unclear on the specifics, etc. Let me know how your plans go.
I've got a friend who did it a few years back and gained weight from all the porkchops and pie on the ride!
