    Personalized plate...

A few months ago we replaced my trusty old Volvo with a fancy schmancy BMW. I wanted an x5 but the husband INSISTED on a 5 series sedan, so... sigh... we have a sedan. It's a great car, but my husband is sort of a FREAK about it. My old volvo (BO BO was her name) had various tri stickers on her and I really felt like she was MY car. Well of course in this fancy new ride came with a "no tri sticker" stipulation, so the negotiations began. He agreed to a personalized plate and license plate frame.
So today I ordered IRNMOM. I wanted TRI ME, but that was already taken. Now I just need to find a finishers plate frame. They ran out of them at the expo, so hopefully they get them back in.
Anyhoo... Soon I'll be cruising the streets as IRNMOM. Sweet huh??

Woo-hoo! Sweet ride, and license plate! I agree, we need pics when you get it in (both of the car and the plate- but mostly the plate).

My plate is BIKNPAM... one day an older gentleman asked me if I was "Bikini" Pam. I had to say "No... do I look like a Bikini Pam?" His response was "Ohhhhh, it's Biking Pam!"

I love it! Much better than "tri me", which has a somewhat salacious sound. Looking forward to pix! Great negotiations with Tony, BTW. L.

On my tri board, someone said they saw some plates on a car at a race:

    NO DNF

    Greatness!

I had a friend who had the plate KONA 2000.

    I like IRNMOM better.
