New bike on the road .... *finally*

Pretty amp'd this weekend. Finally got the custom Waterford on the road. It's not yet complete 'cause I'm still missing the Rohloff hub, but it's earning its keep with a surly flip/flop. Got to say it was such a surprise to step on and have it fit so perfectly. There's something to having it built to suit. 'Twas expensive, but it's a bike to keep a lifetime.

Looks really nice. Did you have any delays in the delivery? I ask because I've been waiting 12 weeks for my custom Serotta.

What components did you put on it? I love the color and it looks like it fits you well.

    Enjoy your new ride.

Nice bike! Very sleek. I like the color, too. Is that a Brooks saddle? Have fun! I've heard good things about Waterford, maybe I should look into it...

Beautiful bike. Waterfords are among my favorite. Hand made and custom paints! My *new* bike is a Gunnar Roadie, which is made by Waterford (but a lot less expensive). Congratulations

I ordered it in December, so nearly 7 months. It has a TA crank, Paul brakes, Nitto randonneur bars, Cane Creek levers, Phil BB, Chris King Ti headset, Nokon cable housing, Shimano SPDs (commuting), B17 special (Ti Rails).

The color is from the 2005 Jaguar collection. Sometimes looks gray and othertimes looks blue. The fit is amazing. Whenever you feel frustrated with your wait, just remember that the moment you step on, it's going to feel right.

Still waiting on the Rohloff hub, so am running it with a Surly flip-flop.
