    June 28 Ride Report

12 miles today -- 16mph pace. I enjoyed today's ride, especially since I bought new gloves and my hands didn't go numb.

    First commute after moving!

A.M. commute - 10 miles. Nice ride in. Seven and a half hours until I can do it again! Woo!

My longest ride to date -- 6.4 miles. Yay!

I have several 2+ mile routes around my neighborhood. I did one completely but instead of stopping at my house then did the one that takes me to the post office and completed it (which gave me my 2.2 green miles) but instead of stopping I did one more circuit, then added them all together.

One of these days I'll get out of the nabe, but for now it's hard for me to believe that I'm the couch potato who lived in this skin just a few weeks ago!

Rode 42 miles today on a new route to Dover MA. Had to stop a couple of times to look at the bike map but didn't get lost. Yay! It was pretty too -- woodsy in places. Then I got caught in the rain coming home, but was glad that I got in a ride as the next couple of days they predict rain.

Yesterday I found a great hill-repeat loop to add to my route. So today, I rode 3 hill laps. My family thinks I've gone nuts.

Total ride was a bit under 21 miles, the average was slow, but there were those hills... and I was pretty tired at the end, but I did it.

Tomorrow, I think I'll try for 4 laps. Maybe I'll leave some of the hip flab on the side of that hill.

Most excellent!! I believe you've tripled your mileage in the past few weeks, is that true?

I did an easy pace 16 mile recovery ride. My legs feel like lead after the last 3 GRABAAWR days. I tried Betagirls strategy to outrun a storm but it didn't work for me either Got wet the last few miles but it actually felt good. Tomorrow is a rest day.

Yes -- I started out doing a couple of miles a day, then doubled, and yesterday tripled. Thanks for noticing!
