Anyone in the Princeton, NJ area?

I haven't lived here very long, moved to current address in Nov 2005 -and finalized a divorce in May 2006 (last month). I have just recently started biking, so if anyone is familiar with the area, I would love to hear any suggestions or recommendations.
    thanks!!!

Cheri, I never rode in NJ but i know that NYCC ( ny cycling club) goes out to ride in NJ. You might want to post on their message board same question and I am sure people will respond with some advice. Good luck

    Hey Cheri,

I'm just north of you, near East Brunswick. I am also new to cycling and am training for a Century in Sept. If you've found any good rides around Princeton (beautiful area), want a riding partner or are considering looking into Princeton Freewheelers, let me know. I'm thinking about looking into them. I need to find some good long rides to train and would prefer to go with a group or another rider. Drop me a line if you're interested.

I live near Toms River, NJ. We are planning to ride the Princeton Free Wheelers' 26th Annual Bicycling Event on Saturday, Aug. 5th. The fee is $30, whether you pregestier or not and they have rides at 20, 35, 50, 65 and 100 miles. All are considered flat/rolling and I think the 65 mile course has 2 options the second being labeled almost hilly. At this point I will be planning to do the 65 miles and considering the 100. It will all depend on how I'm feeling/doing by August.

    Kerry
