    What do you wear?

Do you wear different clothes depending on which bike you're riding? Road vs. hybrid vs. MTB? Do you wear road shorts on all your bikes? Mountain shorts on all your bikes? Different jerseys, etc?

I wear the same lycra shorts on road and MTB. MTB baggy shorts get stuck on the seat nose, and I just prefer lycra now.

I wear the same top on both. Right now I am only wearing tanks, because that means no sports bra, and I have a really good sunscreen.

I wear sandals on the road bike, and haven't worn them on the MTB. I wore my nice Sidi MTB shoes, that I always wore on the road bike, on my MTB once, and felt guilty because they got a little dirty. So now I wear the Shimano MTB shoes that will last till eternity.

I like a Camelback on MTB, because a bottle gets filthy, and it's easier to drink while riding. I like just bottles on the road bike, because my back doesn't roast- but I will carry a Camelback if doing a really long ride in really hot weather- where I am more worried about running out of water than keeping my back cool.

I wear the same gloves, but like glasses with yellow lenses on the trail.

Same helmet. Although I hate it when tree branches scrape it...I'd better get over that.

Each bike has its own under-seat bag with tools, etc.

Yep same clothing for each bike except for shoes. I didnt want to get my pretty blue road shoes all dirty so I have black ones for mountain biking. I take a Camelback when Im on my mountain bike and carry all my gear in that.
The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

when I am just going to work my commute is 4 miles downhill, I wear my work clothes.
I pack bike shorts for the ride home (uphill!) and usually wear a teeshirt
    or maybe a raincoat too.

For longer rides, I wear all bike clothes because it's easier than hassling with my husband who has a thread on bikejournal about how many bike jerseys he has!

    Alert Shirts

I almost always wear an Alert Shirt, sometimes a regular jersey, but I am convinced the Alert Shirt has saved my life on at least one occasion. I've got sleeveless, short sleeved and long sleeved versions.
Regular shorts for me, no padding - due to that bent thing I've got going.

Caligurl, why am I not surprised?

I prefer a looser top on mtb. More subdued colors. When I ride on the road I prefer RED and YELLOW jerseys as in "please don't run me over you yahoo bro'!!!"

I have a grey and blue jersey to match my grey with blue relief GIANT race bike, black shorts and black/grey gloves...

I have a red jersey for my red SCORPIO when I race on it...

All my shorts are black to ensure they go with anything...

My other jerseys tend to be low key in colours... and def no orange

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
