    End of hot foot?

This problem started for me on DMD. And it's troubled me on just about every longer ride since, Davis Double, LRRH, Mines Road... it's annoying and kind of painful.

After some research, I decided that the most likely culprit is my shoes. So I got these

I ended up getting them at Performance, because if I still have hot foot - they're going back!

Hey V - hope these sort out your foot problem. I have a pair of these and find them super comfy. Having said that I have never spent as long as you on the bike.

I will keep my fingers crossed that they provide blissfully hot spot free riding.

    Veronica!

I will be looking forward to hearing what your experience is with your new shoes! I did buy new shoes when I had the same problem, however, I also had a professional cleat adjustment and the reality is that the cleat adjustment probably did more than the shoes (just don't tell my DH!! )

Like I said, please let us know how it goes!!!!

    Thanks gals!

I won't be doing another double until August. But I'm hoping to get in a couple of longer rides (100 ish) between now and when CindySue and I took off for our tour. I'm taking my mountain bike shoes - the ones I wore for the doubles - on the tour. I need to be able to walk around. I'm also going to put my commute pedals on the bike, so I'll have more foot position options, or can even wear regular shoes.
