Do these Zoics make my b*tt look fat?

I'm sure everyone is just waiting with bated breath for the exciting continuation of Knotted's Zoic Adventure... (Wyld Cycling!)

Got the XL's today. (again, so very fast! TE is cool!) The capri part fits. Now, is it my imagination, or did the chamois for the XL suddenly go on STEROIDS? Goodness!

Snowtulip, now I know what you meant about it being way to big. Jeeez Louise! I remember that the chamios in the L was a nice thin (but expansive) layer of polarfleece. Very lovable. Very flexible. No diaper effect. I remember thinking "ah, this must be what a tri short is like."

The XL is a layer of sponge! I'm not kidding! Sponge! Knotted Sponge Pants. (pun intended, cuz that sucker bunches up like no tomorrow) Brings new meaning to the phrase: "don't get your panties in a wad."

Now is when I need to write to Zoic, cuz TE has no control over the chamois...

The capris are good: cotton, zippered thigh pockets, drawstring waist (for those of us with pear-butts) and gotta looooove that gussetted crotch. Unlike Gramiccis, this one has no seams crossing it from hem of one leg to hem of another. Which means no friction-bits.

I'm not sure how functional the back pockets are. They are widely spaced and very small. However the front pockets are deep, rather than the shallow girlie-pockets some companies use. And then there are those beautiful thigh pockets... sigh. I like zippered thigh pockets. Mountain Hardware makes cotton pants with flat zippered thigh pockets. Stuff doesn't jump out when you ride over bumps. And, as Martha Stewart sez: that's a good thing.

All in all, a positive experience. But the liner I got with this pair is the big bummer on my big bum.

Yup, it's huge! I love the capri's though, I've been wearing them around without the shorts (or with my PI shorts underneath). I also love the thigh zipped pockets (great for drivers license and key).

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say!!

Wore my Zoics to work for 2 days and again today after a ride. Very comfy, looooove that gussetted crotch. (have I said that?) Great pockets.

I haven't tried them on the bike yet. Definitely won't wear the liner/chamois that came with them. Will most likely wear my 9 year old Nashbars (don't laugh) or my Hinds under the capris.

The rise is pretty short. The waistband of my undies was sticking out when I bent over (TG for leopard print bikinis) so I'm not sure how much exposure I'll get on the bike. Might need me some Plumber's Spackle. (ok, ya gotta be a Duluth Trading Company fan to get that one. sorry. but not much)

All in all, I'm still happy with my Zoics from TE. Thanks Susan and Molly!

When Susan thought your Zoic zipper was a TE issue, she was all over it! Eric at Zoic could learn from her!
