Heard a talk show hostess the other day, on the topic of wildlife sightings. She said she'd seen a bobcat once, riding her bike. Can you imagine what that would look like??
I wrote her an email asking if the bobcat remembered to wear a helmet, and if it ever gave her the bike back. She hasn't answered yet.

Did it ask to borrow the bike? If so, how? Do you offer to help a bobcat adjust her helmet? Does she have her own helmet? Do you have to lend her yours along with the bike? Do they have fleas? Do her claws scratch up your handle bar tape? I don't know. This inter-species bike sharing may have gone too far.

see - I didn't even Think about the helmet thing.....I wanted to know if the bobcat was riding a road bike or a MTB....and which brand?? And - did it have Cateye lights on that bike or was it riding it during the day? hmmm....would a bobcat need a saddle for wider or narrower sitbones?

The talk show lady needs to provide wayyy more info than "I saw a bobcat riding a bike"..........

Bobcats aren't very big. Was it using pedal extensions? Maybe she just wanted to try out the chamois in her new Trashy Cat shorts.

Cant imagine its fun getting your tail caught in the rear wheel.

Bob cats have short tails. Not long enough to reach the back spokes. That would've been a mountain lion. Maybe that's how she knew the difference. The tufted ears would've been hidden by the helmet.

She got Trashy Cat shorts?! Since the only size they have in stock is XS, now I know who's buying them! Think the ear tufts stick up through the helmet vents?
