I read a few postings about how to deal with aggressive dogs and came across a few about members riding in shady neighborhoods and/or dealing with being approached while riding by yourselves. Thought someone might be interested in this link.

The bike mount is temporarily out of stock, I emailed them to see when more would be available.

A few years ago I was chased by two guys while riding in a park by myself. I was able to outride them. It was evident they weren't interested in asking for directions. If I hadn't been able to get away from them this could have been a lifesaver.

Halt sounds like it works great for dogs but doesn't sound potent enough to take down somebody determined to do you harm.
