    Which mirror do you use?

What type of bike mirror do you like? Helmet, handlebar... attached to glasses?

I used to use the end-of-handlebar kind, and I'd like to try a helmet type this time around. But I hesitate to glue anything onto my helmet. Do the clamp-ons stay on?

    Thanks in advance.

p.s. I've had the flu for 5 days, so y'all are providing some nice entertainment the few moments I'm at the computer. So much time, so little energy. Good thing there's lots of women's sports on the tube this weekend. Who knew college softball could be engaging?

I have a Chuck Harris original on my helmet and it's not very likely to ever come off. (He makes them from old spokes and discarded glass & trash.) My store-bought ones did alright, but would in a year or two lose their stiffness and a stiff wind would move it around. (OTOH, the Chuck Harris one is a little harder to get adjusted.)
I like the helmet one because I can move my head and direct the thing - but it's individual. Some people don't like the quick shifts from near-point to far-point vision.

love this mirror! It is simple with lots of mobility. The mirror move easly. Wouldn't leave home without it! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ance&n=3375251

Anyone use a helmet mirror with tri/bifocals? I suppose I would have to be adjusted so I could use the near vision, because I wouldn't be able to focus that close to my face. Hmm...

I have a mirror screwed into the end of my drops (left side) which I love....tried the mirror on the helmet thing and hated it....the one on my drops give me an excellent view of any traffic coming up behind me
