    Running Coaching- Update

Well, it has been 2 weeks since I have gone to my running coach. Due to riding 133 miles May 6th and 7th, I passed on my sessions last week.

This weeks session was intense. I really broke a serious sweat!

I did some running drills, and then I ran back and forth for a bit. Not too long. He coached me some on my form. I told him I felt like I was prancing when I was running... and he assured me that my form was correct... and it just felt odd, because I am not use to doing it.

Then we went back inside and he did some more core strengthing exercises with me.

I got my "homework" for the next week that consists of what we did in our session today.

It hasn't been discussed WHEN I will really start running again... but I sense that I should be go in another month.

My triathlon season will be cut short this year... but at least I will come of out of this with perfect running form. I am also getting more time in on the bike!

AND... I just KNOW that once I am running again... I am going to SMOKE some people on the course! HA! Of course, at my last tri, I only passed ONE person on the run. So passing TWO people would be "smoking" in my book!

hey, "smoking" someone in my book is defined as "crossing the finish line before they do"! Glad to hear things are going well with the coach! L.

    KSH,

I'm glad to hear that things are progressing and you are not having any problems crop up! That's great news

Keep us posted as we will be cheering the loudest as you leave the competition in the dust
