Crocs shoes

Am looking into purchasing a pair, but not sure about sizing. Have read that they run big. Does anyone own a pair?

They are not a performance fit, the sizing is more of a xs, sm, med, lg format. I think the "smalls" fit a woman's 6/7. The pair I borrowed for a day seemed true to fit. I wear a pretty true, though low-volume, 6.5, and wore the smalls for hours and hours. They felt a little big, but I have skinny feet, and they are supposed to fit up to a 7. I'd say try them on, with socks, without, as the material is pretty soft and offers a unique, but comfortable, experience.

I have a pair of the Caymans, and they do run big. I bought the M8/W10 size for my size 10 (sasquatch ) feet, and they're a bit too long and too wide. They're still pretty comfortable, but I wish I had gotten a size smaller.

I tried some on in a store (don't remember the model), but we had to go up a size from my norm for them to fit. WIsh I remembered more details - I'd for sure attempt to try them before you buy them...

Dunno SK - People love them, though. They felt like they were sticking pins into the bottoms of my feet *with thick socks on.* Hence, why I didn't purchase them. To each her own

I couldn't wear them for sizing issues...I'm a 7.5-8 depending on the type of shoe. I tried the small and medium, but the small were much too small and the mediums a tad too long and WAAAAAAAAAY too wide. My foot is slightly on the narrow side, but not to the extent that I can't normally wear a medium width shoe. When I tried them on there was actually someone from the company at the LBS and she said that they don't work too well for skinnier feet.

They look like plastic but they are more like a foam material. My kids and I wore them when did Disney back in Nov. We logged an average of 8 miles a day of walking and had no blisters at all. They really are unbelievably comfortable.

I wear a size 9 running shoe and a size med croc.

I bought my first pair of Keens for kayaking and thought I would break them in at work one day...They are quick drying especially for water sports but they are so comfortable I cant take them off.
I have 2nd job working retail and we cant wear open toe as it is a home furnishing store but these are okay..6 hours and I felt great...
I cant wait until I can afford a new pair.

My friend who has MS has sworn by these shoes. They work for him. i have a pair of the sandles that they make and love them during the summer. You can wear them in water no problem and they don't harbor bacteria either.

One caution though...they tend to be a bit slippery when it's raining, so I would be leary about using them while rafting etc.

Except they were made with boaters in mind. I don't find mine to be slippery at all.

I've had a pair for a few years now. Bought them for use in the river, but I wish I had got the ones with open toes so pebbles could slide out easier. I noticed my dad had his on this year on the river, and was raving about them. They are very comfortable, and I throw them in the washing machine when they get too icky from the garden. I have also been known to put them in the top rack of the dishwasher, but without the heated-dry cycle on. You can also sterilize them with bleach or throw them in boiling water to sterilize, too. (That's why nurses like them.)

I could never do plastic shoes, either. Remember Jellies--all the little girls were wearing them a few years ago, and I just couldn't imagine it. But Crocs aren't plastic, and have none of the problems with stinky or sticky that plastic does.

I've moved on to Chaco sandals this year, but my Crocs stay right by the door at the ready for a trip around the garden.

I live in Maryland and I got a pair last fall and wore them all winter long (except for snow days) and loved them with socks on. I can't imagine wearing them during the summere in "Toad Tunnel Town" (where I went to school). My feet get a little sweaty and then they just feel icky. But a great winter or cool weather shoe with a pair of socks!

I LOVE MY CROCS!!!!! I have worn Danskos for years b/c of foot problems and when I bought the crocs I thought I would just use them for after biking or running to bum around in, I wear them ALL the time now! they are as good as my Danskos for support and the little nubs in the bottom actually massage your feet.

If you find yours are slippery are you sure they are crocs? I tried another brand on and they were very slippery inside, I thought I might save a few dollars getting that pair but didn't buy b/c of the slipping.

I wear a size 9 and have a medium croc. they have flip flops now and they are comfy too!!
