    Yep - I rode where the arrow is today. That first climb is Mount Diablo, that we Bay Area CA girls talk about. It doesn't look like much, but in my mind the next climb after the arrow - Patterson Pass is the worst. There always seems to be a strong headwind out there.

    Them hills are tough!

    I grew up in the Bay Area and remember all too well how tough they are. But it sure feels good when you reach the top!

    Veronica, you should post this picture over on the bikejournal thread where someone is asking about climbing. The guys that talk about standing most of the time should see this profile. Maybe they'll understand the difference between a hill and a mountain.
