    Cindy Classic.....

    Done!

I did it! Given the rain that was predicted, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do it. Peer presure won out since my teammates were still up for it, so I set off....

I rode through some rain, some serious head winds, experienced some good cross winds for the first time ....and I rode my bike 66 miles!!

    **YES***!

Spoken like a true convert! I think one of the biggest "ah-ha" moments for new cyclists can be when they discover that, contrary to what they believe, big heavy bikes (mtn bike, comfort bikes) are not necessarily easier to ride (on the road)! I watched my hubby go through that.

Congratulations. Is ALC your next big ride?

I think that Day Of the Ride, a sort of trial run for the ALC is the next big ride. I was figuring on doing the 75 mile option, but I just may opt for the century!
