OK, to continue conversations in other threads...

We were talking about who is where and who may be riding with whom to get to the ride. I am V's chauffeur, as noted in one of the other threads. We will be driving up to the ride Sat am and coming back that night for hot tubbing and eating. Unfortunately, I can only put 2 bikes on my car. So while I could give rides to 2 others, I couldn't take their bikes! If hubby volunteers, I could make him drive up by himself and then he could haul a couple of bikes in his truck. Gotta clear that one with him, though.

Bubba will have my bike, so that leaves a spot for one person.

Oh goody! We needed another thread.

I PM'd Miss CindySue and offered her a ride in the Bike Bus if she can get her body to MIL's house early. She hasn't confirmed, but I assume we'll have her bike anyway and she'll need to be there in time for the century. I think Jo and Kim are sharing a car and will be in Logan already so there's space for Cindy in our car or your car, but MIL's is an easier delivery for whoever would be driving her up from Sandy.

yes, yes, I can definitely get there early in the morning. I'm happy to ride where most convenient for all. SK, I'll call you on Friday when I arrive.

Thanks! Looking forward to meeting some new friends!
    Cheers!

I could take one more person, but am not sure if I will have room for a bike. If I get a receiver hitch installed, I will have plenty of bike and people room, but I don't know if I will have one by then. I am not staying at the Crystal Inn and would be passing through SLC mid/late Friday afternoon and coming back Sat. afternoon. I realize my schedule is kind of tight and I won't be offended if nobody wants to ride with me. I just wanted to let you all know I do have one spot available in my CRV.

Love it Lifesgreat...I too drive a CRV.

I will be driving up on Saturday morning from Sandy and returning that evening, after the ride. I can fit another bike in my CRV but won't know if I can carry another person for a few weeks. My mother has expressed interest in going with me that day just to do something different...even though she is not riding.

I am so excited for this ride!!!

I wasn't sure if there would be room, so I was planning on driving too. I am not sure if A's rack can hold all the bikes.

    Lifesgreat,
If anyone's getting booted out of the van, it should be me!
I was looking forward to the ride up there with you! Last I checked, there were four of us riding up (including you) and Spinster (just made that up...you get the idea ) said she had room for four bikes too.
I'll check again next time I see her to be sure that's still the case... so don't go planning to drive just yet!
