    I got a trainer!

I've been perusing craigslist for a trainer for a couple of months now, but holding off until after Christmas in case anyone got a new one as a gift and was trying to unload their old one. Two days ago, a Cycleops came up for $50. Uhhh really? The guy could not meet until last night but I gladly handed him over the bills for the thing, even if it is *only* a mag trainer (in near new condition, I might add). He's moving to Florida soon and says he will have no use for it anymore. Woohoo!

I am ordering a riser and ANT+ stick today and then signing up for trainer road. I'm really excited! The short cold windy days are making it hard to get out there and ride, plus snow should be coming soon, and I hate having the bike sit and collect dust for the next few months.

Congrats! May I suggest a trainer mat and a good fan, too? The mat will protect your floor, whatever the flooring is.
