    Yo, TrekHawk!!!

I don't want to tempt to weather gods so I'm going to whisper. Do you think the Pioneer will be rideable on Sunday?

Talking about it but seems like when I do it rains.

Hey SadieKate - it looks like rain Monday just cloudy Sunday. I will nip up and give it a look over and get back to you a little later. There is still a bit of snow lying around so not sure how deep it will be that little bit higher up.

Stay tuned and I will have a report for you by late this afternoon.

Me? Patience? I assume from your response that you might be able to come out and play?

A bit of snow if fine, mud is not. Damp is OK, mud is not. I think you get the picture.

Mathilda and her pink wheels are getting all giggly!

How could I resist a ride with you. Hey I might even learn how to MTB without falling off all the time. See I have a secret agenda.

Will give you a mud rating before days end.

Hmm, we mtbikers need to develop a whole new vocabulary for mud. Is it the Inuit (or Athasbascan?) languages which have something like 200 words for snow?

SadieKate I checked the lower part of Pioneer and it doesnt look too bad but unfortunately the weather looks sad. Just did an undated check and they are saying rain and 20mph winds.

Perhaps we will have to wait a little longer to get the ride in. The parts of pioneer that look iffy will not be good if its raining thats for sure.

When its looking like a sunny weekend and the trail looks good I will let you know and we can hatch a riding plan.

    Sorry Trekhawk

Sorry SK, I did forget about your b-day ride - which was great fun. And we plan on doing it again.

I just realized that we have a club ride we're doing on 3/18 - another birthday ride. It starts in Livermore and goes up Mines Road to the Junction Cafe. I'll probably ride to the top of Hamilton, although maybe not, since Solvang is the next weekend. You're all welcome to join us.

And can we do Pioneer on 3/19, if the weather gods agree?

Sounds Ok to me - might be nasty traffic on your trip home though. Perhaps we need to start early so you can get on the road home before the rush from the snow starts.

I haven't even mentioned this to Bubba yet. He's got a lot of his plate right now and asking him to deal with Sunday traffic again has to be handled delicately. If this rain doesn't quit by Monday (maybe Tuesday), it's a moot point anyway. The next storm is supposed to drop the snow levels.

I'll pencil it in for now.

3/22 is Bubba's Bday so I was planning cupcakes or something.

Yep you could be right about it being a moot point. They are saying snow tomorrow and then rain, rain, rain. Hmm this is not helping my training for LRRH only my tea making skills.

If things dont work out for that date we can always get together later in the season when things are warmer and dryer. SadieKate are you doing the Party ride?
