Sugoi RS short vs LG Neo Power

Trying to decide between these two shorts. For reference I like the old style (orange) Assos chamios it's elasticy (if that makes sense). I owned a pair of the RS shorts back in 2008 and couldn't ride more than 20 miles because of the chamois, painful. My guess is these have changed. Also which short has the better leg gripper?

I tried on last year's RS short and did not like the fit. It was too hard getting the waistband over my hips. I also have a pair of the RSE shorts, which are snug around the hips. So I think Sugoi designs shorts for women with narrow hips.

The Neo Power shorts do not have leg grippers -- just a wide band around the bottom of the legs. I personally prefer this to any shorts with leg grippers that I've worn, because they look better on me. I have no problems with the legs riding up on the Neo Power shorts.

I have the Sugoi RS and it's too much chamois for me. I also agree that I prefer the wide leg band of my LG shorts. I'm not a fan of the rubber leg grippers.

I have last year's version of both. The Sugois can be rather...difficult to get on (and I don't really have hips!), and I can't say I love the rubber/silicone leg grippers. I do like the chamois (it gets friendlier with use). I haven't done as many rides in the LGs, but I like them too.
At least I don't leave slime trails.
