I got my dream bike...2013 Specialized Fate Expert
I tried out all types of bikes but the only 29er carbon hardtail that had the lowest standover for my 5ft1in body was the Specialized Fate. There was a 2013 Specialized Fate Expert on sale with my favorite bright pink color striped onto black.
I didn't like the 27.5 bikes after demoing a few.
Here is my new bike!! Yipee!
I will be selling my 2010 Torquoise Blue Size Small Santa Cruz Juliana with R kit soon. Email me if any of you are interested.

Teamestrogen members have been really wonderful for me (a first time biker starting only 2.5 years ago - I didn't even know what shifters did back then)!

I have a brain and I don't mess with it too much. (The one on the bike, not the one in my head). When I ride super technical trails I turn it all the way up, otherwise I just leave it in the middle.

I do agree, that once I figure out my front fork's frame, I probably won't touch it for a while. I'm trying to figure out the amount of front air, the rebound speed and the rebound firmness that I like for my riding style. Charts are helpful, but I am still testing out the different modes.
Thanks for all the encouragements everyone!

The air guide line my shop gave me is to put your bodyweight in air into the shock, and then adjust so that when you compress the suspension just by getting on the bike you use about 20% of travel.
