I stopped by the shop on the way home tonight and ordered/plunked down the deposit on my new frame.... the Straggler:
I'm going to move most everything from my Cross Check... I think I just need to figure out the wheels now.
Super excited, the Cross Check is a little big, so the Straggler will be a better fit, and discs in some of my nastier commute weather will be great! Plus purple glitter!!!

So...... 2.5 months later, it's finally here! (I didn't realize it'd been quite that long until I dug back to find this thread)
Still at the shop waiting for me to go in and figure out if it needs a new stem, but I'll go by Tuesday (why do I have to be busy tomorrow???) and I'll have it in time for turkey-day riding
They had a complete in the shop when I dropped the old crosscheck off last night and it was pretty!! Pictures forthcoming
