Love, love, love my ski goggles. Should have taken to wearing them sooner this year. No fogging, no sneaky drafts, just great vision even with full wind in the face and from the side. Ha! Bring it on winter. Bring it on. My commuter and I can take what you're dishin'.

I think it's true that you acclimate to the cold. On the cold mornings in November, I was questioning my sanity in riding outside. Now, it doesn't seem to be as deadly, and I actually enjoy the brisk air and light trail traffic. I can't abide by snow/ice, which is the only thing that will keep me from riding outdoors. Luckily, all the snow/ice resulting from last weekend's storm has melted from the local trails. HURRY UP SPRING---NO MORE SNOW.

This thread has me seriously thinking about getting some even though I don't ride in snow - how are they in rain?

Cause I use "normal" but big sunglasses and use them regardless of season as the wind factor makes my eyes red, and thats not even considering the sun/glare factor. But I always come unstuck on hills when they fog dreadfully or in rain cause I have no windscreen wipers (LOL) on them.

My oldest boys have specialist bike glasses, but the lens are too small for what I want - I like them deep and wrap-around.

So, ski goggles don't fog... excellent... but would like to know about the moisture/rain factor...

That, I don't know. We really don't get many rainy days here. I went with the goggles because it was so dang cold and the wind makes my eyes water, which messes up my eyeliner. If I give 'em a go during the spring, I'll let you know how it turns out.
