Wanted: Bibs/Shorts in Size Small

what brand are your mediums that are getting large? Brand matters... In what way are they getting large?

I'm not sure exactly, I bought them used and there aren't any labels. Well, they were a bit loose on my thighs to begin with and after all the washings and wearings they've been through, they've just gotten looser. What brand would you recommend?

Different brands fit differently, it has to do with design and our specific body type. Is there a local bike store where you could perhaps try on a few different styles and brands? The chamois also matters as they also differ - and our bodies tend to be particular about chamois style (I know my body is).

Is there any type of design of any kind on the shorts?

I went to the closest LBS to home and I tried a few on. I liked the Pearl Izumi ones (I think they were the Quest model), and seemed good for the price. I'm still a beginner and don't really want something too expensive. Also, do you recommend bibs or shorts? I've heard bibs are more comfortable, but are pricier.

And no, the shorts I have are all black. Quick question: For cleaning, can you just throw them in the washer like normal clothes? That's what I've been doing after every ride, but I'm not sure if this is the proper way or not...

Most shorts should be handwashed and dried flat. It will keep them longer and a good pair of shorts, is worth keeping nice. I started with the Quest model and they aren't half bad. Bibs are great if you're doing very long rides but if you're a beginner, I'd stick with shorts. most women don't like bibs becuase they make bathroom stops very difficult.

I do have an awesome pair to sell! I have tiny tiny thighs and was going to sow these tighter but maybe I'll just sell em and buy an XS. The material on them is amazing and I LOVE them, except the leg opening rides up on me.
