I have gotten involved in a local bike co-op as a volunteer, and we have been trying to think of ways to raise money for the program since a grant just ran out. I know last year they had a yard sale, and every year some bikes are sold at the big statewide bike swap in the spring (12 this year including one I rebuilt!). We thought about doing a ride, but that takes a lot of people and logistics to pull off so we're not sure about that idea yet. Does anyone here have any ideas/experience with similar things?
