    300 Watts! And another bruise...

The last set on my Hillacious video has you in your hardest gear, seated for 30 seconds and then standing for 10 seconds. You do this 4 times. My first and last reps I was able to get to and maintain 22 miles an hour for the seated portion. I dropped to 18 when I stood. Second and third sets, I only got to 20 mph.

Still, I'm pretty happy I can put out that much power, even if it is for just a short time.

I biffed again today jumping onto the 24 inch step. Shawna had put some 12 inch hurdles and the 12, 18 and 24 inch boxes in a row. It was hurdle, box, hurdle, box, hurdle, box, hurdle. Repeat 10 times. On my third round, sixth one, I didn't get my left foot up high enough. I finished out the set, but I was really slow jumping onto the 24. Big bruise there now.

Box jumps still mentally trip me up, for that very reason.

My trainer videotaped herself jumping onto the 36 and then she has a fall. It's down near the bottom of her Facebook page. I'd like to be able to do the 30 inch one. I don't think 36 is in my future.

I was happy that I didn't go back to multiple arm swings after I fell.

I've a problem jumping up on the larger boxes - pretty sure it is a head thing...if the box is higher than my knees then I've a problem persuading my feet to leave the ground. I need to get over that Congrats on the power Veronica, that is pretty cool!

You definitely have to commit. Sometimes before I start jumping I step up on to the box, just to get a feel for the height.

I know I was jumping a bit high on my last 4. It hurts when you miss!

I'd like to get so I can do the whole set at 22 mph. It doesn't help that it's the last set on the video.
