    Points of Contact

    http://tinyurl.com/bncol

Here's a link to an article on the Ultra Marathon Cycling website. It's called Points of contact, and talks about why the body parts that contact the bike hurt (butt, feet, hands) and what to do about it. I found it really helpful. It deals with the exact problems we have been talking about all week!

    Good link, thanks Nanci
I have saved it to favourites and point the other cyclists in this house to it...

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

Lots of useful tips there! Thanks!
And I especially liked the advice about avoiding altogether that one contact point -- the highway. I'll do my best to avoid that one too.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.
