Hey SadieKate,
Do you sell the gloves you make? Karen showed me the ones you made for her today and they are soooo nice. Do they come in purple?

Urgggh.I got a whole long line o' people on my list including me who hasn't gotten anything knitted for herself in almost a year.
However, I have a great idea! MBB's daughter asked for the recipe and I'm trying to get it typed up this weekend. Maybe she's looking for a guinea pig.
I wish, I wish I could . . .
Sarah
Your color choices just in case MBB Jr. cooperates.

You knit gloves too? Wow! That's cool! When do I get back on the list?

Thanks SadieKate.
I'd love a copy of the directions if you'd like to share. I see there is purple and lavender yarn. I just couldn't get over MBB's and how wonderfully soft they were. She loved them by the way. How very thoughtful of you.
Thanks for being understanding, Surly. That list is long! Of course, I will share the directions. Do you knit also? I was going to put together a packet of stuff and send to MBB. I can make a second set for you.
Veronica, these were really wristies, fingerless gloves, that are great for wearing around a cold house.

Or in New England which is even colder. (watching weather channel and big snow coming)
Yes SadieKate I do knit some. Not as much as I use too because of my darn Carpal Tunnel, my hands go numb. If it is not to much trouble, I'd love the directions, or I can get them from MBB if that would be better.
Thanks again Toots.
would it be possible to post the directions here? I would love a pair of fingerless gloves for my lil hands and it would be a great way to use some of my left over soft yarns!

PS: have you seen any of the Noro yarns yet?? LOVE their colours!

Guess I'm going to making lotso copies. Corsair, I'll mail you a packet also.
In the meantime, does everyone know about Knitty? Fun articles, a great forum and free patterns.

Corsair, my very first (and only longsleeve) sweater was made from Noro because all first large projects should use cheap yarn.![]()
Surly, if you liked the yarn in Karen's wristies and need to order. One skein did the trick. Instead of tonight being my S&M night, guess it's going to be S&T (shot and typing) night. My pattern is currently a bunch of pencil squiggles.
I never learned to knit though I always wanted to. My mother knitted but she never taught any of us. My parents always wanted us to be doing things like studying. :P
Is there any good resources out there on learning to knit?
