    Millbrae Street Scramble - Feb 18, 2006

This isn't a good training milestone but for pure fun this could be the thing to do. Wonder if any of the checkpoints include beer?

Well, it looks like you'd get good at clipping in and out if you're squirrely about it, like me.

That's what I thought. DH said "maybe". Doing this sort of thing isn't his cup of tea. He'd rather just go out and ride for hours. heh.

what a great idea! sounds like something that could easily be transferred to just about any city! if anyone here does it - I would love to know how it went.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Oh, you Kalifornia girls have so much fun. I was doing just fine in UT until the state legislature went back in session and it became THE news on the local NPR station. Ugh. They spend hours discussing the freedom to use or not use seatbelts. I had to turn the radio off. I couldn't stand it.

Back on subject: I'll betcha we could set up a coat to coast TE scramble. We could do it over a number of months! Or even as a relay! (this of course comes from the currently unemployed ski bum )
