How much water do YOU drink?

Just thought this would be interesting to know.

I am seeing a personal trainer 2 times a month and she told me to drink more water - I was drinking about 64oz at the time, plus my diet sodas 2-3 a day. So I upped my water intake, I now drink at least 96oz. probably more b/c I fill the bottle full instead of stop at the 32oz mark.

I also have milk on cereal some days, and when I go to the gym I drink more water and have actually been mixing it with some powerade lately, probably another 32 oz. or more, then when I get home I will drink close to a liter bottle of diet soda, no caffeine. Seems the more I drink the more I want.

I don't drink juices, I don't want the calories and I don't like tea of coffee, sometimes I drink hot chocolate.

    How about you??

Wow - thats a lot of liquid. I estimate I get about 68ish oz/day - a lot of it as green tea. If I drink a lot more than that I feel like I'm in the w/c all day. I'm small if that makes a difference - I would assume that as my calorie needs are different/less my liquid intake needs would be different too?

I think you really need to keep your activity level in mind when you look at how much you are drinking. On days when I am working (as opposed to working out & cycling), I probably drink around 64 ounces between water, herbal tea, diet soda. I also drink decaf coffee and regular tea (yes, I know, bad, but!).

If I add hours of biking, I also add more liquids. The amount is based on both exertion and based on the weather. That is, on hot, hot days I drink a lot more!

I was reading a book by Chris Carmichael the other day he said we need 64oz a day just to replace what we use in a day, NOT including exercise.

I drink about 48 ounces of water throughout the day. I drink soda very rarely - never diet. While I'm working out I'll go through a little bit less than a water bottle in an hour.

With dinner I'll drink either 16 - 24 more ounces of water, juice or a water/juice combination.

I also drink coffee in the morning.

I drink about 1,5 litres a day, which is probably 64 oz, right? of water, sometimes a bit less, plus a few cups of green tea or herbal tea, one cup of coffee, a glass of juice in the morning, a little milk in my cereal in the morning and a glass with dinner. If I'm riding, add a bit less than one bottle an hour to that. Maybe I should be drinking more, but when I do it makes me feel weird, and it accelerates my digestion even more, which is not something I need.

Okay, where's the gibberish-metric conversion chart?
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.
