Sister Madonna finishes Ironman Canada at 82 - first ever woman over 80.

She finished in 16:32, after a great swim and a great bike. Room to spare! Last year she didn't finish the bike.

She set a new record in the 80-85 age group as the first female finisher ever. She also finished faster than her record in the 75-79 age group. So awesome.

Very impressive. An Ironman at 82 y.o.; I'll be happy if I can at least still do sprints (or 5Ks for that matter) when I am in my 80's.

So nice that you were there at the finish, I must admit that was one of the better moments, seeing her cross the line..so happy for her, the energy around the line that time of night is amazing! Worth every second.
