Trek 820 WSD

So, I've been doing a boatload of research and shopping. I wanted a road bike and my partner wanted me to get a MTB so we could ride together as that's the type of bike she wants.

I walked into my favorite LBS and there was the 820 and the decision was made. I'm getting that one for now so we can do some local parks and easy trails and then in the spring when I have more money I'll be picking up a road bike. Hopefully by then I'll be more confident. It's been a lot of years since I rode a bike and I'm still a little wobbly.

I know it's probably bottom of the barrel as far as MTB goes, but I think it will serve my purpose and it's very pretty! It's on lay away until Sept. It's a little too hot for me anyway right at the moment.

Congrats!! ..I got mine today and just can't wait to bring her home!!...I got a Giant though. She will be with me in the next 2 weeks or so.
