    What's on your Bucket List?

Today we were riding in the car through the Rockies. The Ride The Rockies bicycle ride was taking place and it was so much fun to watch them. Anyway, I decided to add to my bucket list. (That's if I ever get the courage to ride more than 10 miles on a trip and go over 10mph again).

Anyway, here is my bucket list. No particular order. Maybe most are just big dreams. Seems you need money and time.

    Zip Line trip
    Sky Dive
    Ride the Rocikes Bike Trip
Learn to play the piano (again)
    White Water Rafting (Colorado)
Learn to Scuba Dive and go somewhere
    Ragbrai
    Write my memoirs (in process)

I imagine i will add more as time goes on. Trouble is I could be running out of time. I just turned 60.

I think the only thing that is really on my bucket list right now is to learn to snowboard.

No bucket. Today's list is long enough.

I love a bucket list. I have done some big things on mine in the last six months including graduate college and travel to S.E. Asia.

    Travel MORE!
    Go on a Zip Line
    Go on a Para-sail
    Do a metric century
    Learn Ukelele
Send my mom on her first cruise

I'm sure I will think of more. I am a person that is adventurous and doesn't wait so there are many things I've done already.

Love to see northern lights (aurora bourealis).
Visit Asia somewhere (I haven't been yet.)
    Get back into art
Highlight more in my blog some more great experiences I've had.
    Whatever
Cycling meets my outdoor adventuring, but there's other non-cycling, contemplative stuff that I've muffled for awhile.

But for last while and now, my heart is most focused on enjoying time with people who I love but don't see often. The other adventures can wait for awhile. I agree with Reesha: I actually don't really have true bucket list and make it a "goal". Enjoy each day as it comes: it's a gift.

This may sound paranoid, but I'm almost afraid to make a list. Making plans or having wishes seems to invite the Gotcha Gods to throw a wrench into my works. So for right now I'm just going to say I'll play it by ear.

Rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon all 280 miles from Lee’s Ferry to Lake Mead.

Also I would like complete our list of doing all 50 State Highpoints. We have done 13 right now. Some I will probably NEVER be able to do because of the technical climbing involved (and my superb clumsiness that would lead to certain death).
