    Keen Sandal Lovers

I love my Keens. I have a pair of Keen Newports H2O and the Keen Venice. I'm thinking about getting a pair of the Keen Whispers. Can anyone give a review on the Whispers?

I seem to recall reading that they ran narrower, especially compared to the Venice, which I adore, since I have wide feet. I had considered a pair, myself, but not after reading that they ran more narrow.

I don't know about the whisper but the La Paz thong looks super cute! I have a couple pair of keen's and love them all!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

The newer women's Keens run narrow. Even the Newport H2 runs narrower now than it used to. I've had 4 pair over the years, and they've definitely changed.

Be cautious, but give them a try. I find the men's versions fit more like the women's used to.

I have two pairs of Newports. One's an H2 from 2008-ish (they were my sister's, and she hated them, so I took them), and the other pair is from last year, to replace the pair that I wore out. The new pair is definitely narrower, but that's okay for me since my feet are at the narrow end of a B-width.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

This is good to know. I may have to check their men's version of the Venice, at some point.

I got my first pair of Keens a few weeks ago, and they are Whispers. I haven't done anything in them but some short distance walking around, so can't speak to hiking in them, but have loved them for the time I have worn them.

You definitely want to try these on before buying. I normally wear 8.5 to 9 medium width and have a narrow heel. I ended up with 8.5 in these, and could have gone with an 8 for length, but the tip of my little toe stuck out and rubbed against a strap on those. You do need to be aware of where your little toe ends up as it seems that could cause problems.

The string thing that you use to tighten the heel strap works well, and I have had no problem with slippage on my narrow heels which has been a problem with other sandals. I rarely have much luck with heel straps, and these have felt great.
