    Need top-tube bag options

I picked up my new custom Ti Seven Axiom SL last weekend. I'm loving it, so far...although I've only put 37 miles on it. However, I need to look for a new top-tube bag. The one I had been using on my Synapse, doesn't seem to be a good fit for the Seven...due to the brake cables not being internally wired. Not sure WHY Seven chose to do external brake cabling, especially since my bike has internally cabled Ui2...but it is what it is, and it can't be changed now. Had I known that the brake cable would be external, I would have specifically requested internal wiring...but I just assumed that since they were doing the Ui2 stuff internally, that they would do ALL of the cabling that way. Oh well. Anyways...when I tried to put my top tube bag on my new Seven, the velcro straps rub against the brake cable that runs along the side of the top tube. Even if I "tuck" the straps underneath the cable, it still rubs. Is there another solution to get around this issue? That is, besides carrying everything in my jersey pockets, which often aren't large enough.

Do you have a picture? I'm having a hard time picturing this...

When I need more stash space on a long ride or just easy access space, I use a Mountain Feed Bag.

I use this (or maybe a slightly larger model) --

And the straps work fine between the top tube and cables.

    Gone but not forgotten:

    - Two awesome worn out Juliana saddles

Odd question, but how long are you riding that you need to use the bento box?

I don't use a seatbag and am able to carry all I need in my pockets.

That includes spare tube,co2 cartridge and inhaler in one ziplock bag/pocket cell phone, house key, debit card in another and then some gels, bars, etc in the 3rd.
