I am looking for an upgrade for my first road bike (A Giant OCR2, that I have passed down to my sister). I have been test riding, and am all turned around as to the bike I should be getting. HELP!
I am 5'2", legs longer than my torso. I have done several triathlons (olympic distance and half ironmans) and will continue to do triathlons and maybe a century ride some time down the line. While I am by no means fast, I would love to get a bike that will improve my ride. I have ridden the Scott Contessa CR Team 1, Caad 10, the Canonndale Supersix (3 and 5), and the Cervelo S2. I have ruled out the Caad 10, as I want a carbon frame. Both Supersixes were a very smooth ride, I also really liked the S2 (and I would be lying if I wasn't swayed by how pretty the S2 is). I plan to put aero bars on the bike. Anyone have any opinions on these bikes, or others (I am still open to others)? How each handles for triathlons? The differences in the parts, etc.? What are other female triathletes riding? Thanks!
