Men have better choice colored shoes!

Diadora and Northwave currently have some really cool lime green bike shoes. The women's cycling shoes are mostly white or black. No fair!!

I loved the Mavic yellow shoes. Not available for women. You'd think they could offer custom color choice in this day and age.

According to my LBS, manufacturers think women won't pay for higher end, cool looking cycling shoes.
My DH is the Imelda of men's shoes. He buys very cool looking ones that always get noticed.
Jolt, have you ever seen Nayot brand shoes? They are super expensive, but occasionally you can find them on sale at STP or other places. They are designed by an Israeli woman who was a doctor and couldn't find stylish, comfortable shoes. She's become rich making shoes.

Not sure if this image will show-but my LP ( life partner) and I have recently found these. Giro 'Sage" Light MTB shoes- perfect for 'toe clips'. Yes, it's true.. I love my toe clips.. I have been cycling since I was 10 ( on my first 10 speed road bike) and now I am turning 50...! I have a Bianchi Volpe Cyclocross and I ( we ) just love to ride.. anywhere.. short, long, does not matter- and I love my toe clips; but it took us forever to find a shoe that would be comfy, has a hard sole- not too much cleat ( as in soccer type studs on the bottom) work on a platfrom ( VO Touring Pedal) and that look really 'sexy'.. I'll keep you posted as to our trial runs with the new shoes.. ( girls love new shoes..)

My LP and I took the new Giro Sage out for a test run today... OMG.. awesome shoes! Comfy, sturdy, lightweight but solid. Again, we use toe clips.. and we have the Velo Orange Touring Pedals... These Giro Sage are perfect. They are SPD compatible for those 'clipless gals'- But, if you are like us and enjoy a toe clip- these shoes are great. Just enough ridge on the sole to grap the pedal and the ground but easy to pull out of the clip.

    Thanks for your thoughts....
