Our new dog, fresh from the local humane society. She's sweet and mellow, except where squirrels are involved. And my cats are taking it better than I thought they might-- no one has run off and hid. Two of them greeted her with hisses, but they've moved on to being cautiously curious. The third was exchanging butt-sniffs within just an hour!

Hi sweet girl, am glad you have a forever home.
Congratulations Skhill on your new addition to the family. Although my kitties definitely voted the dog off the island when she joined the family, they got over it and were friends for years.
