    Talking Weight loss, mileage update!

I just broke through the 2K barrier this past weekend and I have a new weight loss photo to show. I have now lost 100 pounds since I started dieting May 2004. The first photo in the set was taken May '04 pre-diet, second was June '05 pre-bike, and the last was taken this weekend Nov '05. I don't think I'll be wearing the dress much longer as it was literally hanging off of me. The ladies at my doll show were teasing that next year I need to get a dress that actually FITS!!
I'm already going to need to take in my bike shorts that I made earlier this year, of course I'll need to partially take them apart to do that, but better to take something in because it's TOO BIG than not be able to wear something because it's TOO SMALL!

That is fantastic! Way to go - what an achievement - I have been following your posts on Bj s well. I've lost 45 pounds this year on the bike, and I still have a ways to go - your success is an inspiration!

Way to go!!!! Looking GREAT! You should take in that dress while you're taking in your bike shorts! Or, just go shopping for a new one!

I'm thinking there would be a lot of satisfaction in burning it.

I'd keep that dress, as a reminder of what you achieved. It'll be fun to try it on once in a while

I have a pair of old jeans I keep just to try on once in a while for yuks - they literally fall off me now !

    Congratulations!!!

You look fantastic!!! Good thing you know how to sew, or you'd go broke buying smaller and smaller bike clothes.

WOW from me, too. What an inspiration you are! I'm with Irulan--maybe it's a little wasteful, but sometimes life calls for a grand gesture. You could save a piece to use in a patchwork memory quilt!

    Good holidays everyone.

Thanks everyone! I haven't felt this good in a LONG time.

Bikerz, congrats on your 45 pound loss, if you don't mind, how much more do you have to lose?? I've got at least another 70 pounds to get back to where I was before I got hurt. I know it's still OFFICIALLY over weight, but I'll be happy to see a size 16-18 again and gladly NOT compain. I looked good as far as I'm concerned. Sorry, I don't have a different picture on disc of me at that weight yet.

Yes it is, I met him in '87 the year before I got hurt. He's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet too.
