New Bike- I swear this is the last one :)

I got a raise at work and sold my Trek 520 on CL recently. Traded it for a 2012 Giant TCX2 Cyclocross bike. I know, I know...even DH said I am crazy. This bike fits me perfectly though. I now know what it feels like to be one with the bike rather than feeling like I am just riding on top of it. I have never felt more comfy on a bike.

The Trek 520 was an awesome bike...just too big for me. Also, I do not believe I will ever actually go on any bike tours. I was pretty stretched out on it, even with a super short stem.

I am super interested in trying some CX races. We actually have a few that are really close to my house. I plan to wait until next season because I have a groin injury from jumping out of the back of DH's truck bed, and landing wrong a few weeks ago. I plan to just take it easy for now.

I love the Giant TCX2 so far. I am going to use it as my commuter and CX bike. It is black with a few silver accents but, I think I may add some pink to it later on, to give it some femenine flair

So pretty! Oddly enough, I also have a black with grey accents cx bike I use for commuting. I don't think I'll ever get into CX though, I get my fill of biking just getting to work and back.

I think it will look fabulous with pink accents. I love how black bikes are so easy & cheap to pep up since it usually just comes down to some bottle cages and bar tape.
