Is anyone doing the Horrible Hundred in Clermont Florida November 20th?

All right, you Florida girls, you really missed a horrible I mean fun Century. Non-stop hills! Unlike last year, I didn't have to walk a one of them. I am so pleased! I am going to try to attach an elevation profile. I foolishly thought I was going to knock 60 minutes off my Century PR. The last 19 miles killed me, though. (104 total miles!) Weather was almost perfect, 65-70, overcast, until the rain started, but it wasn't unmanageable, or too cold.

Well done Nanci- I feel tired just looking at the elevation profile.

    Happy riding.

    Goodness freakin' gracious

Congratulations on a very impressive accomplishment !

Clearly, you do not subscribe to Jo's Rule of Rides, which is avoid like the plague any ride with the word "death", "horrible", "terrible", "agony", or "he!l" in the name

    That's a good rule.

I don't know...At least they warn you ahead of time. Horrible Hundred had 3700 feet of climbing, compared to "Six Gap" (sounds innocent) with 11,000 feet of climbing...

It was a great ride, and I hope some Florida ladies (Catherine!!!) join me next November!
