    FOBAR Smoothie Blender

When I mix Heed for the Camelbak I like to mix it in my smoothie blender to get it all mixed - I can never seem to shake it long enough to mix everything. I am unsure how it happened, but when I did this the other day when I went to take the blender jar off the jar unthreaded from the part with the blades.THAT part is stuck in the blender.

I have tried to get it out when a towel, but can't seem to budge it...and I am afraid of cutting myself on the blades since that is the only part I can actually hold.

Has anyone else had this happen and was able to get the bit with the blade out of the blender? It is in there TIGHT - and frankly - I never even blended it. It looked to me like it wasn't in straight so I went to take it out and reseat the blender jar when it separated

Maybe put some oil (cooking not pedro's citrus!!)
Anyway you can leave it if its clean. The whirry butterfly thingo in my bread-machine has been stuck for ages and makes no real diff to the end product.

Do you have one of those rubber-grip things that help you open a jar? Might be smaller than a towel (and hopefully won't be cut by the blades).

Grey - I will try that again, I do have one that is pretty thick. The problem is this blender comes with different blades and jars - it is really nice and good for a wide range of things outside of smoothies and chopping nuts.
