    Bibshorts again

I know bibs have been discussed many times, complete with concern about problems taking breaks in them and comments for and against drop-tails. I bought these http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodDS_10170.html and think they're pretty nice. The clip system is simple and effective, no need to remove shirt. I wish they were longer but I like my shorts looonnng.

Hmm...now those look pretty nice. Never actually noticed them before...even when I was actively looking for a drop-tail bibshort. So when you unbuckle it in the back, do the shorts come down relatively easy or do you have to be careful about ripping if you yank them down to fast/hard? That is the problem I had with the Pearl Izumi drop-tail bib...they felt like they would rip if I wasn't careful enough...so I returned them.

Now, that's a good idea. Unfortunately, I have enough trouble with bra hooks, though it may be far down enough that it's less awkward...
At least I don't leave slime trails.

The shorts come down easily and I don't feel like I'm at risk of tearing them. There's plenty of stretch in the straps and unclipping creates a pretty big opening.

No impact on function but half the "Descente" lettering on the back peeled off after two washes so I pulled off the rest while they were still damp. The logos seem more solidly affixed.

I was at the bike shop last weekeend and saw a pair of bib shorts with a zip in them.

The zip was entirely through the chamois!!!!

Apparently the way it is designed you cannot feel the zipper. I had visions of "Something about Mary" when wearing them- but even worse.
