Do a search on this site. Irulan has made cycling gear and a few others and they've posted some links where you can find hot pink lycra.

All the discussion is on the apparel thread, but here'a direct link to my cycling gear pages:

Tip: swim lycra should not be used for the whole jersey, only decorative panels and trim. It has no thermal properties ( wicking, insulation, fast drying) and becomes extrememly uncomfortable for the wearer. Follow the links on my pages for where to get performance fabrics.

I'm so in awe of people who can sew... I tried making pants once many years ago... and ended up with 4 legs and no way to get in... I remember my mom came home, took one look at my handy work and laughed hysterically. THAT was the last time I ever attempted sewing anything...

I'm in awe of people who can sew stretch fabrics without creating ruffles where no ruffle should be.

Irulan, how hard is it to make a pattern from a one piece item? Like the bolero on Terry? http://www.terrybicycles.com/detail.html?item_no=1964 The only seam is in the pits and down the length of the sleeve.

Zub, a hot pink bolero would be really eye catching! Add a few rhinestones and . . . !
